Synergy was incorporated in 2016 as Ken Whitelaw a 20 year Ontario Merchant looked to start the business with a few Ontario Country Elevators to provide price discovery, risk management and market opportunities along with excellent logistics and customer service. Synergy focuses on working with both country elevators and end users to provide competitive values, marketing opportunities and market liquidity throughout the year. The country elevator system provides a direct connection with Canadian Farmers to source Ontario grown Soybeans, Wheat, Corn and Canola along with other commodities of interest. Synergy has marketed crops produced with various growing practices whether Soybeans for the crush market, Non GMO’s or Organics. These elevators also provide services to satisfy various market needs whether loading bulk commodities in trucks, railcars or containers and can provide Identity Preservation, Cleaning, Processing and Bagging options. Synergy markets grains and oilseeds to Flour, Feed, Soybean Crushers and Export users in Ontario and around the world.
